I think perfect being is overrated, points past 50% avoid ( not including 5% from class charm) are better spent on maxing better skills like prismatic cloak, maelstrom, doom and even broadside. A low cool down broadside is far better for survivability than an extra 5% avoid, even if you aren't spec'd for leech.

Broadside is not worth it. It doesnt do that much dmg because you are not focusing on weapon phys dmg, most of the dmg comes from the dex to magic dmg conversion on maelstrom. And that +20% or whatever avoid is a big deal when you have 6k HP.

How does one max Prismatic, Doom, Tiefling, Maelstrom, Perfect Being, and is not left with 10-15 unspent points? And if anything, you may leave Tiefling at 21, as it has the least return of investment after (only a bunch of dex).

put the rest in blink for lower cd or into shadow refuge. broadside is useless since as istaryu has said the dmg of mael comes from the dex you stacked and not the wdm you stacked. which means broadside will have bad dmg compred to mael which means the time you put down broadside is better be used to just spam mael. also with maxing mael , doom , tiefling , prismatic and perfect being you'll be left with almost no spare points especially when you get +max skill charms

There's no way you're getting that much avoid by leveling past 50%. Broadside is best used as a defensive skill as I mentioned. without ANY gear investment into leech, you can easily drop a broadside in a sticky situation in fautz or bremm and facetank whatever damage comes at you. Also, since your comment is just so impertinent on so many levels, its worth it to note that weapon damage ALSO scales with dex, and at 10k dex, broadside still provides a great supplement to your maelstrom damage, especially on 1v1s. Dumping a bunch of points into perfect being past 50% avoid is just bad prioritization. Maelstrom assassin has no good way of healing in combat and vampiric icon is shit, broadside on a 10sec cooldown is way better

theres bloodbath , potions and laek in gear if you need healing. in the 1st place a sin shouldnt be hit as much as possible and mitigate dmg taken as much as possible , thats why it has avoid passive , a flat phys and magic reduction and a buff that gives even more dr. with sin's puny hp you shouldnt tank hits and dodge as much as possible even with max block. also sin's playstyle revolves all about dodging hits and killing stuff quickly before you even get swarmed too much .

Try dodging howling spirits. Sin is incredibly tanky endgame, you dont have to roleplay as a fast and agile ninja. 9k HP, max block, 55% avoid, max runspeed and a fuckload of flat/% res from prismatic cloak and refuge is more than enough for farming and most ubers.

Or you could just summon walk versus howling spirits? Only have to do it once, no reason to run bremm multiple times anymore. It still stands that the best way to avoid damage is to not get hit at all.
