Deadly Strike and Azurewrath?

Basically, does deadly strike work on Azurewrath? Azurewrath converts vitality to cold damage, does deadly strike double that cold damage?

Does deadly strike work differently in median as compared to cLod?

As I understand it, DS only affects Phys damage. So if the Cold damage were being converted from Phys damage, DS would be applied. But since it's just straight flat Cold damage, DS is not applied.

No it works the same as clod, only works with physical wdm, works with elemental conversion but not flat elemental damage.
