Well. I've done a throwbarb a couple times recently.
My suggestions: Get rid of Ashaera's Armor. If you're using it for DR, that's silly because nothing else on the belt really benefits you that much. Make a

still works plenty well enough.
The crafted axe is kinda meh. Look for a proc on kill like Spike Nova or Shower of Rocks to help put a debuff on or put out more DPS/Leech potential (And I think throwing axes can spawn + barb skills too?) If you're going Runemaster, you can socket Eld Runes in the weapon for %AR if you still need a better chance to hit. Otherwise, you could look into Jah Runes for %ED, or even might be better off sacrificing those six sockets for Runemaster to put in Perfect Rainbow Stones for 30% more Crushing Blow (5% each).
Get rid of the Lah Runes in your shield. You already get plenty of %attributes from 1 point Mountain King skill. Replace those with Lo, Gul, Mal, Pul (I think those are the light/cold/poison/fire resist runes) if you struggle with resistances. Otherwise, Jah runes are good there as well for more defense.
For your boots, you may be better off with a runeword,

. You can get about 4.5k defense with sacred greaves if you make them properly, and up to 7% DR if you get 2% from a blessed oil of luck. You'll sacrifice 3 sockets for runemaster, but you'll have stronger boots, +1 skill, %DR, and you can make 3 nice jewels for the runeword that have 15% FHR, %Attack Rating, 2% Str, and 35-50 flat life.
Armor is fine. Gloves are kinda trashy, honestly. I've always done well with
Featherclaw
. Some speed boosts, %AR, low level req (more MO space), and some dexterity.
Helm is fine. Would be nice if you rolled +barb skills on it along with kraken stance. Quiet Shrines should be more your focus than abandoned for some of your pieces. 7k hp with that many charms is pretty.... bad for a barb.
Ive always done:
max: overkill, spirit guide, immortal
20-25 points: wolf companion (every 5 for a new wolf to help with spirit guide and doom bonus damage)
8pt: Ancient Blood
1pt: Thunderslam, Thundergod, wolf stance
Leftovers (if you have any at this point? I cant remember): Daedalus (attack rating and lightning damage and some life)
Use wolf stance to offensively/defensively move around, kraken for killing, stay near your wolves if possible, thunderslam to stun crowds.
stats:
enough str for gear
enough dex for gear/comfortable attack rating (80-85% is fine in most cases since overkill throws 150+ axes)
rest in vitality
none in energy
This is my general prefence. I'm sure others have different methods, but I've always done pretty well with that
