There was a video on youtube a long time ago showcasing the soulshatter necro, I think it was in tran athula, and the music was Laid to Rest by Lamb of God. Don't ask me how I remember that, I just do. But the video disappeared years ago, and I have not been able to find it since. +1 to anyone who can find the video if it still exists somewhere. . .

Yes, but is quite different from 8 years ago. It used to stun all enemies, and provide slow I believe . . . Still a fun skill to use, but not quite the same.

Yes, but is quite different from 8 years ago. It used to stun all enemies, and provide slow I believe . . . Still a fun skill to use, but not quite the same.

I don't remember it stunning enemies, but it was definitely a useful skill with the right setup.

Well it deals weapon damage, so any slow should be applied through that

Suffix +(8 to 21) to Soulshatter Necromancer Knife, Necromancer Scythe
from the suffix list in the docs.

I tried it a couple of days ago. It still does stun enemies if I remember correctly. The slow came from Talon's Hold. And that one was decreased significantly. Max Talon's hold for more slow.

@ cnoltz deathstrike isn't as strong anymore. You can clear mobs faster with fragmentation shot. + fragmentation shot doesn't have that much of a delay.

back when ss and ds necro were good it was mainly because there were no better skills to use. But nowadays, those 2 skills... well ofc they don't suck, but there are better skills to use. ss is still awesome. But it is quite rare and hard to find.

I saw a soulshatter barb run around a couple ladders too. Favourite oSkill but never could build it right to make it work on necro alone. Just not enough damage but i'm a scrub.
