New player looking for assistance

Setup median XL yesterday checked out some of the character skill changes, but not too sure which to go for as a main character. Any recommendations?

Just pick any. All characters are fun and great. If you want an easy game go for totem necro, later melee necro.

If that is the case ill probably go totem necro to see how the game is in later levels. Thanks for the quick reply.

One more question, for the runeword changes how does it exactly work, do I put the runes in a specific order still or is it now a cube recipe?

To make the runework work u gotta put jewel/s first if u got more than 1 socket. For exemple if u only got 1 socket in your grey item, you only have to put the runeword rune but if theres 3 socket u have to put 2 random jewels first and the rune afterward.

ah, seems a bit easier to make the runewords compared to before at least, going to be a bit odd though having to actually use jewels xD, a nice change though since you can theoretically use any runeword in any item to an extent. example not needing a 6 socket archon plate for example to make a body armor runeword you want.
