Do earth essence have lower drip rate?
Because I've got a bunch of lightning, poison, magic. Pretty well all but that friggen earth. Is it a harder to find item or do I need to kill something specific?

At some point I needed like 4-5 earth essences and got them all in 2 runs with earth essence one after another. Sometimes you'll get only runestones in a single run, sometimes only essences. It's all RNG. But many people are searching for earth essences specifically and not for fire, cold or light ones. Can it just be because the wind runners are so sweet? ^^
Well, wind runner is bis boot for just about any weapon damage based character. They add a ton of damage, leech, AR, they have max defense. What else you need?
Compare this with Knave 2x krys (which is from fcking Toraja, a bitch to farm those let alone two)

+(115 to 143)% Enhanced Defense
(11 to 15)% to Dexterity
Target Takes Additional Damage of 50
20% Gold Find
Random Elemental Resistance Bonus
What am i suppored to accomplish with this? This is a double-rune great RW which is worse in nearly every way to Wind Runner, except maybe this 11-15% dexterity. But you don't get the damage and you get this weird random resist bonus which is sometimes a significant minus.
Another trash endgame RW:
25% Chance to cast level 16 Arcane Torrent on Melee Attack
+50 magic damage
+50 cold damage
+(146 to 174)% Enhanced Defense
Maximum Elemental Resists +2%
Physical Resist (1 to 7)%
Phys res and max ele res is decent, the rest is total trash. Doesn't even come close to wind runner.
They nerfed spirit walker by making it stupidly rare, because it was by far BIS for any caster that could use some mana regen. Even without this orange text they rocked.

%max resist is probably hands down the most valuable stat in the current game. not to mention the fact that you also get 3 jewel slots on this, more than makes up the difference, if not more superior.
For me this runeword is only useful in high lab tiers where you actually have no choice but to invest in max resistances. At this point, it is more about which slot to sacrifice to get this stat. There are many helm options (Pestilence, sha’ad circlet etc ...) If you put gems, you lose jewel bonuses. Boots are a good spot for me since I don’t see myself replacing a SBS with a Nathasha on a wdm character for example.
