I did Uldyssian and Spirit world with this build (could't do this with my UHC). Uldy took me about 45 minutes and of course charm +1 sk ;). Reaching Spirit world was hard but Spirit of Giyua - easy.

whatever rings and amulets you can find with skills and/or poison pierce

socket no runes everywhere for easy pierce

max snake bite, gladiators dominance, snake stance, get 1 point in mountain king, 1 point stampede, immortal, and thundergod, put the rest of the points in ancients blood fore more skill lvls in snake bite and glad dominance. Use snake stance at all times, use stampede to clear, snake bite for bosses / poison absorbs


With this build, astro dies in 2 shots, belial in like 3-4, xazax in like 15, kabraxis in like 5, really insane.

To be fair Raptor+Shield or even TU+Shield does the same. The thing about DW in my personal opinion is i dont find it worth it simply because damage is never going to be the issue anyway. Hell i fucked up my weapon and run for 2 levels with a white balanced axe till i could reequip it while leveling and my damage was still insane..

Defenses is what becomes an issue in my experience especially going into places like Fauzt/Brimm and thats where to me Max Block shines. And seeing as how either way you go you still will dump everything in dex to eventually put Opinophagius into the build it just made the most sense to be to go with a nice shield instead of DW. But, i will agree if all you care about is raw damage and dont have endgame Ophino yet DW Raptor or Sterrenvogel are the way to go. But, again to me i felt defenses was more lacking than damage when i tested out DW.

Also while leveling i found the Hunter Set Shield and used it till i got Toraja's Champion Shield because of the +1 block it had which ended up giving me Max Block at 115 or so with less than 100 Sigs. So in the end i wouldn't exactly say going DW or 1H+Shield either way would be Wrong but rather a preference in which you feel is more important to you. Massive Damage and so so defenses or Amazing Damage and Great Defenses.

Sure, you will want ophiophagus eventually, i was just talking about a dirt cheap build that can do most ubers super easily. Farming will definetly be a pain without ophiophagus, but for bossing purely, its not needed.

Before 400Sigs? About any equipable +1 Base Block Shield and dumping everything into dex except str to equip items. I was max block at sub 100 sigs and a like level 110-115 with Hunter Set Shield. But i did respec into Mountian King and 1 point Glad Dom to do so for easy mode farming exp then respec back into 1 mountain king and rest in Glad Dom later with more charms and sigs and Abandon Crafted Gear. From there you want to get as many +1 skill charms as well as +skills on gear, 400sigs, More Character Levels, and as much %dex on gear as possible in order to get that max block without the +1 base Block. This is where Abandon Crafted Gloves, Boots, and/or Belt can go a long way to achieving max block without a +1 base.

Hunter Set Shield isn't the ONLY option its just the easiest option to find in K3K farming. But like i said there are a few +1 base block shields that will work whichever you happen to find first with low str req and any other usable stats will do though for getting that max block as early as going into Hell difficulty.

The Hunter Set in general isn't a terrible option but you will however Struggle to get really good Pierce AND Duration with the set. But it is an option and one you may find you need for things like Fauzt/Brimm farming till you can get into endgame gear. Because the extra Leech and Phys Damage from the set will help make up survival if you have low Defense. around 130-150K+ Defense is what i felt like i needed for those two places. Farm the piss out of levels there till your 136-140.

You can also use IO runes for 5% Dex per. Squeezing in some IO runes for more % dex is something you will be doing anyway once you have Ophinophagius. The idea will be to get enough %Dex on gear, flat stats and +skills from Charms, and levels for main stats to achive massive %Dex scaling with only 1 point in Mountain King 28-32 in Ancient and the rest or max Glad Dom and ofcourse 6 Stampede and SMax Snake Bite and Stance.

Phys Res im currently sitting at 23% or 24% and working on getting more but, not quite sure myself how im going to get 50% cap quite yet. But with Max Block, our more than respectable Damage, and 150-200K Defenses its good enough for most content in the game so far.

My endgame gear so far. Note that its still a work in progress and probably not my final Gear just the best ive managed to put together and test so far. Theres a couple more options i wish to explore if possible but what i have already im fairly confident i can get most all content done as is or rather finish what few i have not done yet. One thing to note is i run Jah Runes in my weapon just for Fauzt/Brimm farming for a little extra leech and damage which helps. Otherwise those change to Nef runes in weapon and Hammerfist also changes out for crafted Gloves with Pierce to Cap at 170%. Ammy and Rings also Change for this as well. (Those swap items are in my Character Inv.) Otherwise i farm with i think 136 or 146% Poison Pierce in current Gear. Things like the Astrogia Set is an example of things i still wish to explore. Theres also a couple Runewords that could work in place of things like my Helm for example i think Taha Helm is almost exactly the same as Royal Circlet minus MF and like 6% Dex.

Agree to this. DW with mediocre defense and no leech/sustain just isn't for me, too much kiting. I find having decent block better than more health, and I'll have more AR as well.

Astroghas moon set, raptor runeword, crown of the black rose, triunes blessing, shimmering craft ancient armor and gauntlets and two rings that have +1 skills poison peirce and supernova procs. Maxed snake stance, glads dom, snake bite, 6 into stampede, 5 into mountain king and using thunder god, 1 wolf for defense. Mo'd tcd on all armor gear since spell damage is irrelevant and all sockets possible are no runes for piece. Seems like only pierce and skill lvls with high defense and resists will get you anywhere with this build

Or you can substitute the craft armor for cathedral runeword, the xis version obviously for the poison skill duration bonus
