More ideas (from PoE obviously):
1. Make one difficulty instead of three (just like PoE duh). Act 3 completion gives -50 rez and Act 5 another -50.
2. Unlock all chests.
3. Personal hideouts with customable content.
4. Separate quest for each uber skill.

Move back to run abbility instead of the never ending walk fooling arround.
Move back some content from Ultimative( cube rec. like bella mix, magic/ rare/ base rolls) .
Add more action instead of messing with difficulty only.
It also would be a great idea to let *modteam* share with their progress ideas on this forum - that would let us know what's they are up to in future.
