Don't think so, patch notes said nothing about it; and I didn't see anything saying it needs an axe. Lemme test right quick, gotta get a Druid to 24; I'll check back shortly.

It would say in the skill icon if it requires a weapon. don't need to use the skill to test.
Good point, I just like to make certain before I say something; I've been wrong in the past.

Isn't idol of scosglen WDM and therefore need a to hit roll? How do you build it using idol instead of poison flash+mythal?
Idol of scosglen adds a lot of defense. You cast it right before poison flash.

you're going to be maxing strength so idol does a lot of damage with a druid class bow, the only difference is you also need AR but that's easy to get from jewels. idol gives you a shitton of defence, 35% dr and with 25 points in it the wdm novas trigger a punisher barrage every 4 seconds

If I remember, it caps at 5 seconds with 4 sec cooldown
