I'm a bit afraid that I might be running into technical trouble tomorrow. :?
Has anyone beta tested 2.0 on Linux? Did it run fine? Needed any tweaking?
1.8 runs perfect for me through Wine. Would love to hear from any people who already experimented with the new version.

EDIT: I changed the title since I figured out the error for Linux clients. Hopefully this will help some other people.

As expected, I ran into some errors when I ran the Linux launcher and clicked Update. My error log said:
/bin/sh: 1: xdelta3: not found
So I installed it with sudo apt-get install xdelta3 and it seems to have worked. Currently chugging along at a snail's pace as the servers seem to be suffering... :lol:

Edit: Everything worked perfectly after this.

Download manually mod files. Ubuntu 18.04. mods 1.8- work perfectly. After press Skill Tree or Character menu game freezes.

I think its abount new fonts for gui

One time i was lucky to join other people game on TSW and open skill tree successfully (assassin), but after i click my Stash i get this error:

Not sure why in this log my diablo version is 1.13 (PROGRAM: Diablo II v1.13), i am sure that i have 1.14d
I play sigma v1.8 without any problems

I find draft solution. D2stats work too. But its not simple.

i finded nice and simple solution. Just testing for stable and write this. 1 hour plz

So,

1. Download latest Proton build from: https://github.com/Kron4ek/Wine-Builds/releases
2. Extract for some folder
3. run: /path/to/proton/bin/wine d2stats.exe
4. run: /path/to/proton/bin/wine sigma-loader.exe(copy from d2laucher thread or repo)


I just completed first quest without any problem. D2stats works fine. ONLINE(!)

TODO: need some bash script for run both one click
