Hi guys,

I'm currently doing a Unholy Melee Pala, having some question on Grim Presence (Buff) + Miasma (debuff) + Nightmare (curse) Interaction.

Compiled main information as below

Grim Presence - Self Buff from Ritualist Tree

a) Enemy weapon damage- reduces by 30%
b) Enemy attack and cast speed - reduces by 20%
c) Enemy attack rating - reduces by 32% (as per my current smax)

Could only find information from a seemingly outdated site, if the information stands correct it should do the below

a) Prevents healing from On Hit or On Kill
b) Reduces movement speed - 40% if it's correct
c) Reduces attack rating - unsure by how much




According to this thread About Curses, Suchbalance confirmed that only ONE curse can be active, but infinite debuffs can stack
*Should be safe to confirm Miasma and Nightmare stacks






Questions below

1) Does the attack rating reduction from all 3 buff/debuff/curse stacks?
- 1a) If yes - should it be additive/multiplicative?
- 1b) if not does it take from the highest?
- 1C) Say, if i have 33% enemy accuracy rating reduction, example of 850k defense requirement for fautz, and now i can just shave 33% off my defense?

2) What is the radius of Grim Presence?

3) Question Scenario - Grim Presence (Buff) and Lemures chilling enemies, along with Miasma + Nightmare
According to Introduction to Mechanics Guide under SLOW MECHANICS.
- Max slow on bosses are capped at 25%, and normal monsters at 90%
- Grim Presence is 20% slower attack and cast speed
- Chilling is 20% slow

Are below calculations accurate?

For bosses
Attack Cast Speed > 20% Grim Presence + 20% Chill = 40% (But Capped at 25%)
Movement > Miasma 33% + Chill 20% + Nightmare 40% = 93% (But Capped at 25%)

For normal mobs
Attack Cast Speed > 20% Grim Presence + 20% Chill = 40%
Movement > Miasma 33% + Chill 20% + Nightmare 40% = 93%

4) Possession - Passive from Ritualist Tree

a) Hit Recovery and TCD - Self explanatory - nothing to ask

b) Increase Attack Rating - How do we check the attack rating of Lemures and Blood Thorns? Based on normal attack?
- b1) From what i have tested to far, Lemures and Blood Thorns does not have to HIT the target to be casted, seems more like cast per weapon swing, capped by attack speed fpa based on weapon used.
- b2) however On Melee Attack procs or Life/Mana on Melee Attack needs to HIT to gain the effect

c) Chance to Avoid Projectiles - Does it include spell projectiles? or just attack projectiles?
- c1) D2stat seemed to be capturing as flat Avoid/Evade

5) What is the radius of Sanguine Covenant?

I still questioning: Miasma and Force Blast - will they reduce damage from all sources, or just physical damage, or weapon damage?

So far only tested Miasma casted by Ennead Necromancer
Couldn't seemed to make PvP work, could have gotten more information by doing that.

Could not find a safe/reliable source for force blast, did another test on Miasma, it seemed that i got 10% EWD shaved off.
Putting in Path of flames at right mouse button for good measure.

1a) additive
1c) no you have to do the hit calculation with enemy attack rating reduced

2) melee range

3) slow cap only affects the "slow target" stat. Every other type of stat slow stacks linearly (subject to diminishing returns)

b2) yes, same applies for all other on attack procs
c) all projectiles

5) no radius, in other words affects caster only

Test subject was my LVL 130 Hammerzon VS NecroBot

Was able to reverse calculate Necrobot's "Total" AR to be roughly 40000

1) Following the calculation, is it correct?
-1a) If no, please help,Google Doc
-1b) if yes, below is the new formula inserting % AR into the calculation, this is using 500% AR as a dummy number, is it correct?

4) By any chance you might know what is the accuracy % reduction from nightmare curse?
