A lot of builds are useless due to some relics for example cherubim relic is insane OP for lab farm and pretty much kills your character skills ,

Relics are rare enough that it doesn't matter. COTWs were always in a game and relics are just an expansion on that. If people want to spend a ton of TG and crowd source enough of a certain one to make it good, why not let them? All it does is add to the endgame, something to keep farming for.

cherubim is overrated this ladder because It's the only decent skill that's allowed to melee for clearing labs.
It'll become not so popular anymore as soon as builds without melee devo can do phoboss in high labs more easily.
Casters / ranged wdm builds have much better alternatives, the skill is nothing when compared with voidstar or annihilation for clearing.

Relics make the gameplay diverse, which is good. Cherubim relic is OP, yeah, but also rare.
Compared to removing them, why not buff some skills? Like bladestorm for melee sorc, its a rather trash skill in 2.0 (70% weapon damage but halved projectiles in 2.0 for "better performance"). And that is part of the reason why melee sorc in 2.0 is kinda weak compared to other sorc bds.

One thing I'd change about relics is to make them drop as unique jewel, so you don't know if you got relic untill you ID it.
Missing that part of identifying cube full of unique jewels from long farming session.

Otherwise, fact that they made relics have extra stat to make bad ones better, is a good move.
Don't think there are any other d2 mods or hack and slash games in general, that allow you do literally get any skill or any class in the endgame.

I mean you’re supposed to play melee , cherubim turns your character in ranged build , people say they’re rare but this becomes a big p2w game when someone pays thousands of tg for a single relic and then he clears lab 10 times faster than other people , there has to be some kind of balance here , for example cherubim req lvl 32 for 0 cd , just make the relic to give 1-3 skills so you have to sacrifice some gear for all skills in order to make it 0 cd , the game becomes too easy once you get this relic , because its pretty much trinity beam on steroids with better dmg and single target against Deimoss , you can jump on top of him and deal huge dmg same as Voidstar , cause it hits 7 times at once x6-7 hits per 4 sec duration thats around 5.5-6k wdm per one attack …. and this is just an example there are other relics that are strong as cherubim

Relics are not the problem, nor are the "OP" builds. The problem is some build are immensely op with relics and most build are just OKAY even with their best gear. Relics add diversity, but also makes it harder to balance builds out.
I really hope they will put on some work fixing builds, cause some of them are just a small tweak away from being viable/good.

How is it overrated when it kills deimoss under 20 secs? I hope it gets reworked.

Relic kill this game, some people what have tons of tg buy all the relics and have the overpower characters. I think with no relic its hard to farm t10 lab if u are not have tyraels might or u are not a paladin
