Can you give your setup for that elemental javazon - i am playing one, still midgame 11x lvl and using java set. Damage is average (curare helps a lot), but defense and hp is crap. The buff helps a lot, but its only 8s duration.


My setup changes depending on pierce requirement (170 for boss and 135 for farming)

) from Paragon give you better chance to survive in labs (more hp = more healing from moonbeam). Curare still good in farming, though. There is no need to go too high defense, you get 75% block, 30-50% in lab 7+ and you already get a lot from armor, shield plus balance. Try to get 4 frames on FBS and FHR and you can kite them quite easy.

I have done all ubers except Laz (my control sucks), Deimoss and Samael. Been trying to do Deimoss 0% but I cannot seem to avoid her fire quickly.

If you find farming way too boring, you can always switch to elemental bowzon, pretty much same setup but with

Any guidance on skill allocation? Is Fairy Ring your main attack in labs?


I think its debatable. Upon entering you have to use Enfilade to avoid being overwhelmed but later on, both Enfilade and Fairy Ring works. It depends on whether you want to snipe enemy from screens away or not (Having a corpse party to welcome Phoboss is nice, though :lol:). Personally I would use Fairy Ring to snipe and Enfilade for close range. Remember that you need 120 ICS for Fairy Ring and 208 IAS for Enfilade.

I would put 3 points to Defensive Harmony for max slow, max Athena's Gift, Moonbeam, Swift Aim, Moon Queen (You can still deal phys damage so why not), Endurance and Continuity (more moonbeam uptime), some into War Spirit to cap your attack speed and 1 point to the rest. Any spare points can be used depending on your playstyle (Balance for more defense, Wild n Free for more mobility, Enfilade or Fairy Ring for more damage). At around 135-140 you might want to respec for Specialization.

My build is not perfect so I welcome for any recommendations :bounce:

And MMzon... how does that compare to bowzon - is it more of a boss killer than farmer?

Btw I heard some people say they find elemental bowzon struggles with sustain?

, there is no way a glass cannon can clear high labs. Even so, its much better to play something like xbow necro instead. Bowzon is for farming non-lab rifts.

I would say MMzon is more like a jack of all trades: homing attack, high hp, def, some block and minions, good for both bossing and farming. Similar to many spell build, you need some good jewel and gear to boost magic missile damage. I do not want to compare builds but playing MMzon is indeed safer than Bowzon, considering Bowzon has negative def 99% of the time.

Uldyssian kill with Magnetic Field.

I can handle low labs but my health is rather low, I'd have to give up on investing in dex for vit, even with a Golden Chariot shield. I have no way to cheese things and you can't summon edyrems at will anymore. I rely almost completely on pots, which are also nerfed. It's a very good boss killer outside of lab.

Nice showcase, is magnetic field your main skill for other areas also like Fauzt/Scosglen or would you use thundercrack for those areas?

I just respec to bow for farming :mrgreen: . You could farm with it but nothing compare to bow. It sucks in scosglen, fauzt is easy but slow.

Thanks, good to know. I might try blood then, I was looking at patch notes and it seemed to be about the same as last patch, just a buff to the passive Baccanalia.


I've been trying bow while levelling - did they change Wyrmshot? I'm sure it used to fire round corners but now it seems to need line of sight and for the mobs to be activated?
