To make it clear:

UMP, whether Blood Thorns build or Lemures build, is never like some OP bds in 1.7 and 1.8, not op at all! So why keep nerfing it in 2.0? I just see no big point in nerfing UMP. While totem nec is already so strong in 1.8, why keep buffing it? I just see no point.

How was UMP nerfed in 2.0? Also, totem nec Is a great farmer, and I could be wrong on this but I don't see anyone killing Sam or deimoss or doing t9-10 labs either easily or without endgame gear + tons of UMOs

Totem nec cant kill Sam, yes, but whats ur point? It has nothing to do with totem nec being outstanding not just as a good farmer but also a good boss killer.

As for t9-t10 labs, no bds can do it "that" easily or without any good gears. The fact is, totem nec is kinda op apparently, if u ever played it u will know. Leveling fast and smooth, fauzt doable with just set, efficient Scoglen farmer, good boss killer, high labs available and efficient with enough gears, what else do we expect of a build?

i personally find this to be the biggest hurdle to overcome in Median XL atm, i have been playing actively for a month on average and can clear Faustinville fast and with no problems, but i can't clear Scosglen unless i do it slowly, so i don't do it as it feels unrewarding, so my problem is currently that i haven't had any luck with the good items dropping, and i can't get any of the higher enhanced runes to make the good runewords that i need to improve my character, i am really bored, and it's not like im one of those "i cleared faust 10 times and got nothing QQ" im closing in on my 100th clear on faust, (i try to clear it now at least 1 time per day, cause eventually ill get what i need, but man....).

I have bits and pieces of great item setups, but not enough to make a switch, which is yet again frustrating, if i could at least get high-level enhanced runes, i could craft items that would allow me to switch items.

Also, many builds check all the checkboxes you mention for totem, then. That just sounds like a really good build. I don't consider any of those things OP. I would consider OP a build that can do high labs and/or Sam/deimoss without extreme investment

Then u must mean Blood Thorns UMP is not UMP or what I have been playing is just a fake median 2.0, I guess.

And for high labs, sry but Ive seen no Lemures build above lvl 145 on ladder. Nearly all are holy casters or holy melees. I can only guess that is because Lemures build does not perform well in high labs so ppl dont go with it for labs. Im not sure about that. So correct me if Im wrong, or u can show us some vids about it running high labs without extreme investment. Its always good to learn. Thx in advance. My dawn crystal sword pal is lvl 148 on ladder and can grind in t9 & t10 labs, but not that safe with just 18k life pool (Adjudicator version with Arkaine's Valor surely has much more life). So if Lemures build can reach this far, I would definitely try it.

Tbh, not many bds can do all the checkboxes as good as totem, if u ever played totem u will know. I can tell that u dont play totem from what u said. Yes, any of these alone is not OP at all. But together, they make totem nec powerful in 2.0 (already powerful in 1.7/1.8). Just try it, and u will know what I mean.

Killing sam without extreme investment means OP? Well, I guess u must know that netrualdin can do it without extreme investment. U think netrualdin OP?
Naginata Assassin can also do it without extreme investment, so naga sin OP?
Malic nec can do it without extreme investment ever since 1.4 version till 2.0, Malic nec OP?
Totem nec cant so is worse than Malic nec?

OK. Leave all these alone, whatever. I just want to know:

1、Is Blood Thorns UMP nerfed in 2.0？
2、If so, why nerf it? For it is OP in 1.7/1.8? But as I remember, its just an ordinary farmer and ordinary boss killer in 1.7/1.8.

Agreed. But just one thing, no one ever said "totemnec has been OP for years" in this post. Totem nec is already pretty strong since 1.7 version. And it keeps getting buffed in 2.0.

Lol na its fine in 1.7, I would use the word decent for it but it actually needs more love. But in 2.0 he has too much love. Surely will get nerf in 2.1 no matter what he can do Sam or not.

Also about UHM/melee sorc/oskills stuff, i agree with your points and I would love to see Cold UHM (Lemures) will be more stronger, especially for farming Scosglen.

Back to the topic, the drop rate of scosglen is already high and it makes other areas like a joke. This is your problem with your playstyle, not the game. Drop is all about RNG, you cant judge the game like that because you cant find the item when you need it. Its too pepega tbh.

The fun for me is the achive goals while levling. Not to be able to do all when om already at such high level.
