Help with Gidbin no show!

Hey all,

I've seen in the Bugs reports that the Gidbin drop might not be attainable in Act 3. I still see the original Gidbin altar outside the Flayer Dungeon, and nothing happens when I click on it. Then I read it's supposed to drop from a mob, but not sure if it's from the Witch Doctor you find at the end of the Flayer Dungeon or some other mob outside the dungeon at the Gidbin altar?

Any insights or ways to solve this issue for me would be greatly appreciated. Don't really want to have an incomplete quest even if it's not part of the main progression.

This bug happens on some specific layouts. Recreate the map (if you are playing SP, either switch difficulty or go to MP) and you are good.

EDIT: It worked! Thanks so much. I made a MP IP/TCP game, found the Gidbin Altar, the possessed champion showed up, and he dropped the Gidbin.
