Hey guys, hope y'all doing fine today :)

In preperation for futher ladders im testing different builds to find out, what works best for me.
So, its not just about efficiency, but also what you personally enjoy playing.

I ended up with the choice between Poison caster Druid or xBow Necromancer... (remember, its not only about efficiency ^^ )
Maybe even Neutraldin, but tbh i'm kinda getting tired of the playstyle lol

Comparing Poison Druid / xBow necro , i feel like necro is way more comfortably to play.
When it comes to meatshields, Druid has to use Harvesters for aura etc, its actually mandatory, and maybe even the Bear Companion for Buff proc.
None of these are too tanky tho.

Now lets get to the point of me wasting a bunch of words right here :)

Steel Golem is mostly just a nice side addition at best in a standart summoner build.
But what about, focusing on Steel Golem as main tank besides your A3 Necrolyte merc? Like, the LaeK passive is nice, Golem has high base hp etc...
Mid-game is ez AF, Transform a High Innate elemental weapon and watch Golem's Queen of Blades spread some solid dps

8 years ago i read somewhere that Golems will inherit the aura of items, in case they have one.
I know, transforming a super rare SU feels bad man, but for a 1st char ladder, maybe it could be worth it?

So, does anyone have some in depth experience on "Steel Golem- Builds" and is willing to share it with me? i'm really interested

Best regards,
Take care

Best tank is VK. Golem without resists just melts on hell, you need to pull a very good item with 100+ resists to make it work and when you die it is all lost. iId replace the steel golem for like a blood or fire golem, something that doesn't rely on a good item to be decent.

filled with Um runes. I haven't done the math in awhile but that should be immune to elemental damage and provide you with bloodlust procs.

wait, we talking median xl here right? fire golem?? i'm confused :O

EDIT:
Also, VK has to be without a doubt the most tanky minion in the game, u right i guess?
But in that case you'll have to miss out on Rathmas or Jinns boost... Do you feel like its worth it?

Seems very very strong. And a T4 Unique isn't that much of a loss imho, consider it 2 AC's...
Thank you man, i really appreciate it!

Not heard about "Steel Golem- Builds", probably not gonna work.
From what I know, the summon nec playable in current version are mainly 2 types: VK or knights (boss killer hawks nec not included)
Whether u go summon or totem, better use a
Relic (Champions of the Sun)
Relic
(Random class Only)
Required Level: 75
+(23 to 39) to Champions of the Sun
+(11 to 15)% to Summoned Minion Damage
Elemental Resists +(10 to 15)%
, though I always suggest to remove this relic.

Ahh, i guess i worded myself very poorly in the opening post.
I'm talking about a xBow Necro, just using minions as a meatshield.

Edit:
So in general, the question boils down to "Do i want to use a Golem or VK as xbow necro?" right??

my bad, im sorry

Because i think a almost immune to dmg golem who buffs party as described, is at least as good as the big beefy bone boy, no? :)
