why there no one choose summon paladin? the question is with what skills to combo summons, since melee devotion doest allow to use summons it makes harder with melee trees, but HMP and UMP fits nice with summons

To me this lvl120 quest reward feels like it comes too late in the progression and it should've been available at around lvl 105 or 110.

Couldn't disagree more. I just ran a character from 100-120 in the past 2 days, and found less than a dozen to total set pieces, and none of them were the set you mentioned, nor were they the set I was hunting.

If you complete the exact full set your class needs by the time you reach 120, you are VERY lucky.

Also: Getting the set too early would from now on trivialise the early midgame content and sort of force you to play a certain build or gimp yourself (even more so than normal). You would be heavily incentivised to just always switch to the specc that get's a free set and steamroll the next few zones. Some builds don't want their respective sets but those would be the exception. Think it's much better this way. I remember downloading some cheated SP files for the original D2 and immediately losing all interest in the game. Getting too much power too easily isn't actually fun in the long run unless you also unlock new challenges through the power gained.

For people playing many seasons now the earily ubers are all on auto pilot for the most part anyways, but even for those people, depending on what build they try out, sometimes unforseen problems arise and have to be ironed out. Stomping through 105-130 because you have many years of experience and know what to do feels kinda good. Getting a free ride after reaching hell because you invested 8 ACs to get a complete set would not be as enjoyable.

You can buy full set from people for like 10-15 tg and it always being like that, how it's different from getting crafted set at 120?

Because that's you using your "knowledge" and aquired currency to make yourself stronger which feels more like earning it & it doesn't push you into one specific build. Also, complete sets cost way more than 10-15 on first days.

Also also I was arguing against giving sets earlier than 120, e.g. 105-115, not against sets at 120. If you are one of the quicker levelers you often will not have anyone sell the set pieces you are looking for until you are in K3K yourself meaning you are at least 115, possibly higher. Getting free sets earlier than that would in essences mean that you get a huge power boost the second you enter hell, making all the early ubers complete push overs and creating a weird difficulty curve where everything at the start of hell is super easy (and easier than even nightmare) because you just spiked hard and it only starts getting more difficult again later once the set falls off.

Being able to skip natural progression if you choose is different than changing the natural progression itself. I know I can't be the only one at this point who has put over 10,000 hours into D2 and uses trading as the end game way to full holes, rather than the make myself as powerful as I can through trading the moment I'm high enough level to wear something.
If I traded for sets the moment I could wear them every time, I would get bored a LOT faster. The game is simply a LOT more fun for me when I actually work to get my gear. And no one is telling you that you can't skip ahead a little, but the game shouldn't be balanced on trading.

This is only your opinion. Personally I like trading and game would not be fun for me if its not balanced around trading.

Why summoner barb? I'm curious to hear. In general I see so many people say what they will play, but not the why :D

I tried to play it last season, but I kind of went with summoner necro because the early gameplay with necro felt a lot smoother. Especially the moving around the map with summons felt really janky with summoner barb.

Have not play a Summoner for a while and
Spirits of the Nephalem
Spirits of the Nephalem
(Barbarian Shaman Set)

Destiny
Sacred Charge
The Guardian
The Protector

Set Bonus with 2 or more set items:
+38% Damage to Protector Spirit Bloodlust
+50% to Summoned Minion Attack Rating

Set Bonus with 3 or more set items:
+15% to Summoned Minion Damage
+15% to Summoned Minion Resistances

Set Bonus with complete set:
+1 to Maximum Barbarian Minions
+150% to Summoned Minion Life
+300 to Vitality
+300 to Energy
+200 Life Regenerated per Second
Regenerate Mana +100%

is for free in lvl120 quest, also its a good starter

In my experience this set is quite easy to find before lvl 120. I myself was just wondering and I would expect to have better non-set gear than what the set can offer at lvl 120.

To me this lvl120 quest reward feels like it comes too late in the progression and it should've been available at around lvl 105 or 110.

Anyway, I might give it a try as a starter just to see how it performs. If I don't like it I can always respec back to poison ww and steamroll norm.

So when does this actually happen? Completing a set before 120 is plausible, but if you expect to complete a specific set you're definitely leveling inefficiently. I don't think I've ever gotten my build's set before Fauztinville, and it's not like most characters would actually benefit from an early set unless they have muled sigs anyway. Sacred strength requirements make a lot of sets a straight downgrade from TU gear until you start getting other charms in.
