Hey all, Just wanted to let you all know that I've tried MXL with Lossless Scaling and the results are amazing! Playing at 120 or even 180 FPS feels really really good and plus it supports xBR scaling for nostalgic games.

Definitely give it a try I'd say.

P.S. Not linking it directly as it's a paid product but you can check it up on steam.

I play a lot of ARPG's. Myself has never really seen a need to play with more than 60Fps. I did play diablo 1 modded at over 500fps but most people won't really see a difference with that high fps. I can play over 60 on diablo. I may have to give it a shot once I build my new PC but I need a monitor. Depends if I get amd or nvidia(leaning towards nvidia) but man G-Sync Monitors in South Africa is expensive.

Stating the obvious, but keep in mind that the engine itself clocks at 25fps no matter what. Even if your software displays it running at 180fps, everything within the game still occurs at 1/25th of a second step at a time. If instead you're aiming for a just-visual different feel (with frame interpolation and whatnot) to give the illusion of 25+ action frames then it's another story.

Lossless Scaling actually does frame generation which is the main reason I use it for. Not the upscaling part. It generates the in-between frames rather almost perfectly and results in very smooth gameplay imho. Looks much better than d2dx

Id say people have to get it for "free" first, to see if this program works for their pc setups and the desired games they wanna test it on, then if you like it - support the developer by bying it. To say a program is paid these days on the internet is to have no knowledge of internet at all and pay for everything blindly, where you can have nearly 99,99% of everything for free as long as you know where to look and ofc even when one obtain something for free, one can always find a way to support the developers :P

Yes, we should all acquire these 99.99% things for free! We should quickly return to the stone age just after...and ...yes...making a stone axe can be done for free! :wall:
