My point as well. Median is one diabloid where you cannot just facetank bosses, no matter how strong you are. So against the most dangerous things, the ones that are the most likely to get our barb killed, Immortal is practically useless.

Don't spec it then.

I get what you guys are going for, but I wrote this guide to be as easy and straightforward as possible. That third defense layer I view as absolutely necessary, as its extremely forgiving when learning the game and it helps a lot later in labs.

As a FYI, you can face tank most bosses in this game. Its just a matter of layers and sustain.

That I wanna see on later ubers. And I don't remember but isn't avoid still reduced on higher labs?

Yea it is. Any avoid is better than no avoid in labs. You can try with just armor, but you will notice the difference. You don't see it as much because the spec is so strong in normal game zones.

From the top of my head, I've face tanked Uldy, Witch, Giyua, Eleventh eye. Basically ever uber I've done I have face tanked. Including Kabraxis. You can facetank up to around tier 7 labs with specific setups. I had a Set based setup get to tier 8 facetank, but it was slow on normal killing. You would be surprised what you can accomplish with 170% leech, 30% avoid and 50% block. Armor makes very little difference on most ubers, as they almost always hit because their attacks are multi hitting. Giyua's tornadoes for example.

Most things that kill you are multi hits. All it takes is a few to get past your armor (5% chance) and you get chunked without avoid.

Can you reach 50% block with this build? I played EQ baba last season and my focus was on reaching the power I needed and I was nowhere near the Dex necessary for 50% block.

You go gladiators bane, spec 1p fortress + max citadel. Need around 1k dex total, you will be at 50% block with fortress up. Which is pretty much always up if you hotkey it.

if you go full leech gear + jewels you can hit around 70% crit, 50% block and maintain max power once min maxed. I had a setup for that last season but my snapshots bugged out.

I'm not sure what you mean when you said earthquake damage get affected by unarmed strength bonus. earthshaker skills only get affected by weapon physical damage bonus on 2nd page of character stat, not by strength damage bonuses. this include unarmed damage.

I mean if it does affect earthquake damage will get around 30k damage in end game easily.

It does affect the damage, but it does not show on the actual skill. You can test it by making a fresh character using the act 5 command line and putting points into both str, and earthquake and isolate the damage (low ar) so you see the skill damage. Its currently got a bug as of this patch where it does not seem to effect the first Eq blast or at least I cant seem to get it isolated. It does seem to affect the first punch itself though if you actually hit the dummy. Last season you would get the + damage on both the first and last blast.

Yes, you can get around 30k Eq skill damage once you get min maxed. I got to 60k+ before the unarmed nerf this season. That took alot of min max because of the phys damage cap. Keep in mind, the skill damage is not effected by the WDM.

I am actually working on a setup to add to the guide for this. Got the leveling setup, working on an endgame setup thats not a bunch of UMO projects. The nerf hit it pretty hard.

I mean, it's just WPD. it confused me as that section was inside the earthquake. it is more likely read as earthquake skill damage gets boosted by unarmed strength bonus.
what you said sounds unarmed weapon damage is calculated just like any other WPD skills. while earthshaker is nice for unarmed bunch it's just how WPD works.
