Ok guys im gonna change my mind about thunderstone-its pretty good even with one source from the shield.
Just did terul and uldy and there are some nasty bosses with very high hp regen. Couldnt hurt them with stormcall, thunderstone did the job.
So my advice-keep the shield :)
As for uldy- love the new mechanic, the fight now require skill not just spamming non stop barrage, in about 33% or 25% his life he starts to run away form us, seems hard in the start but youll learn how to navigate him in the upper left corridor, in the others corridors you wont see him clearly.
Prime edyrems and ancients?- keep your stormcall equipment, belladona elixir and max balefire so its 5 sec ancients, 15 second primes :shock:
2 x uldy kill, charm rolled +0 all skills twice :-x

Which mercenary do you guys recommend for Stormcaller 2017?
High dps Ranger Sister (Act I)? Meaby stun via Barbarian (Act V) is worth trying?
I'm currently leaning towards Iron Wolves (Act III). Right now using Bloodmage (fire + poison) variant - combined with our lightning/ physical damage source, grants opportunity to kill almost any opponent during farm runs.

I almost always use bloodmage or aburjer these days on all my characters. Basically just because I'm lazy and honos/crafts go a really long way in making these guys work well.

This may be not the most optimal setup but for a lazy man it's pretty great.

edit: id use bloodmage for stormcaller over aburjer since you dont have a natural source of fire or poison damage which can help diversify your damage types against immunes. Also the heals are great :D

Due to high base damage of Punisher/ Graveyard (poison damage), crafting fire-boosting oriented gear seems reasonable, don't you think?
Also, his fire skills (Pyroblast, Flamefront) seem to be dealing damage in more consistent manner (the way they are applied/ reliabiliy of application).

Nope. But just so you know The Creep is not a must anymore, Scpepter + Shield combo is even better nowadays IMO.

How come you don't like online? It's best to craft shield + scepter with ornate shrines.
