No, all of these won't work. Trinity Nova cannot be triggered by elemental spells, only by Symphony of Destruction. Venom Sting is a holy melee weapon. Riptide requires Shaad which is expensive, and such gear is not listed on purpose :D

I would put around 8-12 points on black sleep...that thing is just too useful in places like azmodan,toraja (lilith becomes super easy) and faultz (i can just rush and attract a huge horde) and vizjun


Endgame is not that necessary coz you will be ridiculous tanky but early-midgame is very good


I prefer the other neutral tree...sacred armor,hoplite and that dmg passive that i forgot the name is overpowered even as 1pointer

Well, apart of maybe, BRC Terror Fauzt Trial I see no sense to taking out skill points from Hymn/Blood Thorns and investing them into Black Sleep. BRC Fauzt is, probably, the biggest challenge ingame, but it's doable if you move slow enough. For Vizjun you don't need to charm any monsters, there are invisible machine gun sentries, mines and Beacons that can kill you even if you charm all monsters around you. If it comes to killing, then raw power is better. Toraja - yes, many players abused Black Sleep in there, but I see no sense to respec points just for 1-2 quests :?

Nah, I use Scourges because they are numerous. Hoplite will still die from strong physical attacks (they are not immune to physical anymore) and they will vanish very quickly in the palces where you desperately need lots of summons (Legacy of Blood, Rathma Square). Even when Vessel of Retribution wil be better than VoJ, thanks to +15% damage from passive, minions are the cornerstone of survivability. No need to waste more skill points into the VoR passive or Rapture, because we have limited amount of them and too many skills to invest into (if I could, I would smax Blood Thorns too).

Also, Sacred Armor - apart from the Void, there are no places where this skill could be a must to use.
