SHURIKENSIN
good old tantrumdin in new format

introduction
-----
READ THIS YOU SCRUB
-----
I decided to make this guide for many reasons. There is latest Assasin's buffs: for +15HP per lvl, removed "next delay" mechanics on Shuriken Flurry (patch 1.1.3) and buffed its damage. Also - sin is really comfortable and sweet character for playing the whole game without exceptions like early/mid/late game. She's fast, have nice base stats and awesome skills for AOE and solotarget damage. And my decicions on this guide will care of its low survivability. The last reason - i'm really bad at this game and i can play well only with tantrumdin. So they're the same. Imagine regular Tantrum with whole screen area. Sweet, isn't it? Actually this guide can be used by new players, but some arcane crystals and gold will help you alot for early game.
P.S. - In advance I apologize for acid colors, this is a side effect of the long gameplay for the character of this guide.
-----
FEW WORDS ABOUT MY GUIDE
-----
I've add many tips for better understanding of some gameplay and gearing aspects, so read them attentively. Perhaps you will find some of them primitive and unworthy of your attention, but perhaps by skipping them you will be mistaken in levelling and your game will become much more difficult.
-----
This guide is unfinished yet and it will be fills with more ubers explanations and endgame tactics. So check it for new information, i will remove that text after this guide will completely finished

explanations

-----
I do not see the point in detailed explaining the tactics for each of the ubers. The idea of this character is not so difficult, that there were any artful tactics. Most of the ubers solves by Hit'n'Run tactic. For some of them, you will need to be suicidal and give out the maximum DPS for the targets, which still teleports to you and oneshoot you. For some of them, you will need to disperse the thrash with the help of Psychic Scream and use Singularity on the right target. I do not want to fill the guide with water, so below will be given tactics only for complex ubers. If you do not see the explanation of one of them for now then just run ahead and sow death to all living things. Explanations for the easiest you can find by reference
https://docs.median-xl.com/
-----
Anyway, there will be at least a video walkthrough for each of ubers which possible for me and this char. Walkthroughs will be only in real conditions with charms that i took before in my priority list. All of them have no any sound (excepting Duncraig) so you can listen what you want to

I would suggest to not use abbreviations such as Laek, FHR etc because most of the new players are not familiar with these terms.

Additionally, even tho strategies for challenges and ubers can be found in other guides, you should still give some explanation of how to do them and what they are. Remember that majority of people who go for a guide are new people who are still learning the game, so assuming that they can find their way around challenges and ubers is just bad.

Man, pick one.

Nevertheless, it's nice to see someone finally made an effort to write about Shuriken Flurry since this update. Good work

Looks to be a pretty decent guide. Might try it out at some point, as i love assassins!

Notes:

In the Doom section you said:

Doom is handy and pretty long debuff that hardly improves our damage output. Once u got to Act 3 - spam this everytime for more comfortable walkthrough

"Hardly" means "barely", so you are saying that Doom is almost useless, but still choose to smax it. I think you might have meant to use another word there :D

-----

As Rishab said, i would suggest not using abbrevations.

If you still want to use them, you should as a minimum have a list detailing what each one means.

Aw, looks like my spoil with shortlings missed somewhere. It's should have some postmoderating period with access only to author and admins. Writing a guides is a hard thing, you know. It's just impossible to track everything.

is a complete waste of stats into STR for a caster build that needs as much energy as possible , regardless if you socket-%requirements jewels or not . you can simply get a honorific that requires much less STR to wear and get the same benefits also at a much lower level requirement . Same goes for the

, they got nothing to do with ninja builds , Honorifics are the way to go .

-
Lily
(req. level 65) is also a waste since you need decent attack rating for the blades to actualy hit something untill you can get decent crafted claws and invest heavily into dexterity, so while in early-mid game you are not dumping many points into dexterity , it's pointless to go for it . that helm slot could use something better instead that runeword . some perfect rubies in the weapon(s) are enough to stay alive in the early-mid game .
maby you could also insert another helm recomandation untill lily actualy gets to work with those crafted claws

use leather sacred items with low ilvl (more MO space) . they will prove much better than the high ILvl ones for such a build

and why would you break your shift click while you can just use the shurikens from right click ?

TL;dr , overall your intention was good into creating a ninja assassin , but your build at this point if very far from being efficient . you got a lot of rework to do here , as at least for now the guide is looking bad . Good luck !

shuriken flurry is a spell and does not require AR to hit, you're probably thinking about queen of blades

i know exactly what it does , as i have played enough caster assassins over the years . there was such a ninja assassin in the compilation since the patch 1.F9D back when Shuriken had different name, visual aspect and mechanicks (Starburst )

Gekko64 wrote:you're probably thinking about queen of blades
that's exactly what i was saying (i did mention "blades"). he said he uses lily for QOB which is pointles untill he invests heavy into DEX

Yes, I know that this is strange. But I tested the mechanics of Lily and noticed one oddity: Shuriken Flurry does not synergize with procs, and QoB does not really have much use. But the fact is that with QoB enabled in a large cluster of enemies it is much easier to survive because of very fast selfhealing. Just try to test, maybe somehow I do not understand this mechanics.
P.S. - love you so much, man. Watched your guides from XV, even tried some. Actually your guide for castersin (cant remember its name) was a parent to my shurikensin. And your easter eggs are wonderful. Peace <3

i did not say that lily was bad . i was trying to say that you can only have decent attack rating for it to work well with QoB at level 120 when you got heavy points into dexterity and dual crafted claws equiped . untill that point (level 120 + heavy dexterity + crafts) , you must mention some other gearing (helm) options so that people can actualy make a step forward from using

. the guide needs something in between using Stilwater and using Lily efficiently . a low ilvl craft or w/e is boosting the build

you want to use stilwater untill level 120 ? i don't think so
