This needs to be updated for Sigma as the new tu/rw are released. I'm sure it will remain as strong if barb skills themselves remain mostly untouched.

As for sigma compatibility, there is few issues. To changes in certain mechanics regarding uber bosses, optimal build would look slightly different, because you will no longer need certain tools.

Might be worth mentioning in the Guide that on "22. Toraja" that no charm drops and you have 30 seconds to cube the "Crystalline Flame Medaillion + Arcane Crystal → returns Crystalline Flame Medaillion with added bonuses"... wasted 30 minutes doing this only to be surprised how different this uber's reward was from the previous 21 bosses that dropped charms.

As a fresh median player, this was the first and only build I played, really enjoyed it though. I'm wandering if it is going to be viable in Sigma, or is it too early to say?

TL:DR With both changes to quests and tiered uniques we'll have to wait to see (didn't even check barbarian changes)

Quoting the patchnote for Sigma:

''Tiered Uniques

The tiered unique (TU) item pool has been revamped.
Items with a good assortment of stats but poor numbers have been buffed
Added new items for builds which had no, or very few, viable choices from the TU pool
Items which have been staples for too many builds, or those which were too powerful, have been toned down
Several TUs have been added which support popular skills as viable early game oSkill builds. For example: Deathgaze, Noctule and ATMG Sentry
TU jewellery and quiver drops are now more varied and have been improved to be attractive during the leveling process
Unique jewellery and quivers may no longer be disenchanted into Signets of Learning''

For Quests they changed alot of stuff so it might be easier/harder depending on changes ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'll post small updated version of this for sigma, but without spoilers how to beat specific ubers. Lot of mechanics didn't change entirely so this guide can still be used as reference of course.

Aerial, thanks a lot for the guide mate!

By the way, do you think it is going to be a decent starter, or is better to look into UHC palading, since almost everyone in discrod is mentioning it's going to be a very solid starter build?

It depends what you want from the build if you plan on using respec a lot or not. UHC is good for sure, but imo at being versatile it is worse than barb. It is gonna be better at certain specific things though. Just like in m17.

Think of it this way, what changed for unholy caster pally vs m17? it got mind flay buffed, slayer got tweaked. Now, will this help you teleporting in duncraig, getting immediately surrounded to clear this without problems? That is at reasonable level of gear, before you are fully decked with capped pierce items and crazy su.

It looks like Iron Spiral barbs can run Fautz now though, so that's good.
