Is it still recommended to delay going down the Cold Blooded side until endgame even after the patch rework?
I'm doing okay damage with a sacred honorific crystal sword and both paths, wondering if I should just stick to physical

what do you mean delay? cold blooded doesn't work with the endgame ele weapon

I would say either way is playable and good, from early game to end game. The only obvious problem for ele variant is big PR gap with endgame gear, not even 40 PR with Vengeful Power. If no VP, less than 20 PR.
Trophy Set helps but not solves it completely. And clearly not the BIS for ele variant, just compromise.
Ofc, there is another obvious way to solve the PR problem for ele var but I dont think that is the proper way how it is supposed to be solved.

Welp nevermind, I found a Belladonna and switched to physical with the Sorc Melee set and my DPS went up by like 3x lol, wasted a lot of time I guess
My DPS with the physical build is higher than using Starhawk interestingly enough

Just dropped a Starhawk yesterday. Moved over to a fresh Sorc. Does it matter if i do physical or elemental?

Should be hybrid instead of fully physical.
MO ED, and 6 jah runes for the sword.
Slots for physical damage should be 1 ring or 2 (ripstar); boots (wind runners); gloves (crafted).
Lower damage than fully elemental but you have life leech.
