Generally, no. You can use the same build for the 1.3 patch. However, you'll need to make some minor gear tweaks (e.g. using Sacred Honorific or Crafted Boots if using the Set for Mid-Game). What base for the honorific boots?

oh well this is embarrassing :facepalm: should've thought to check that before posting here. he's at 1,032 dex ... needs 1386. shouldn't be too hard to fix. thanks!

Newbie here: for Duncraig/Corrupted Abbey the guide says:

> Have enough Perfect Bloodstones/Perfect Rubies in your stash to reach at least 400% stacked Fire res.

Why so much? Once my resist is capped anything extra does nothing unless max resistance is increased, but even then it still feels like a lot. Makes me think I'm missing something or misunderstanding the mechanics of resistance.

It says that because the boss, Assur spams fire abilites. They are easily dodgeable, but they do a lot of dmg if you get hit. If you dodge, you dont need to stack fire res, but the place doesnt have a lockout, so dying is not a big deal.

Assur has, or at least used to have, massive fire pierce. Something like 200+. So if you want to tank his attacks, you'll have to stack enough to take that into account, and then some.
