Hello guys. I'm in the mid to late game on this build, and since I'm a newbie I'm kinda lost at the moment. I've noticed that the skill tree have changed a lot since this thread was created, as such many of her skill now deal magic damage as well as physical. So I'm wondering which stats I should focus on, %spell dmg and %physical/magic dmg or just pure physical ( more dex/enhance weapon dmg/...). Right now I haven't had any trouble yet, but I'm just trying to get gear that have both those stats rather than focusing on one. If you guys have any idea which stat would provide the best damage pls let me know. Thank you.

Attacks are not spells, that should answer it. Get the set if you can, its really amazing.

So moonstrike dmg won't be increased with %spell dmg and %physical/magic spell stats right? If this is true then RIP me, gotta replace my whole gears lol

All the abilities of melee sorc scales off of physical weapon damage into magic damage (or there's no conversion and it's just physical), but they are attacks and not spells, so spell damage and %magic spell damage does nothing for you. I don't believe the sorc guide mentions anything about going into spell damage, you would probably be better off just sticking to the guide instead of trying to make up your own stuff. Trying out stuff for yourself isn't inherently a bad idea but if you don't understand the basic mechanics, you will most likely hit a wall in the early mid-game.

Flat Damage (e.g. Max Damage) = most important damage mod at that stage, followed by DEX, then Deadly Strike.

As others have pointed out, the Magic damage you're dealing isn't Spell damage, it's Phys damage that's being converted into Magic damage. So boosting Phys damage will also boost the Magic damage you'll deal.

: It has -1% block hence I am down to 23% at 2072 DEX.

I could reroll my skills for extra:
Stormflyer: Poison passive 20% physical resistance (that is the cap, not 25%), lightning passive 17% avoid , 42% block.

Lightforge: 20% + 20% physical resistance from shield and passive, still having the 17% avoid from lightning and I would be at 29% block.

Vaetia's wall: this is a bit harder to calculate, gives a bit more health (15%, translates to about 1k hp).
But without putting hard point on:
Living flame: just gives hp regen, no extra life.
Snow queen: give 1300 def, no %life or extra def.
= to me feels like it sucks with the above mentioned 23% blocking and 20% physresist from passive.

, but it has extra 1% block as Stormflyer, so block would be around 39-40% too, (it does not have 14% dex by default)
It does have -50% attack speed, that would need to be compensated, allskill , reanimate, defense, -% enemy resist is all good stuff. I am not sure about it though. Depends on whether or not 20% physresist is enough.

As for rainbow stones, yep I am using it in my weapon. Endless loop sounds good. :)
