as I said last time you really need a shield with bear stance. it is huge for defenses.

I played around with resurrects a bit and must say, that they are more useful than I thought in the first place, especially for progressing, attempting certain Ubers with not that great gear and buffing.
Examples:
Infernal Machnine: Go in Kill the first mob -> resuurect it -> it can tank for you -> resurrect a traprat if possible -> done. (they are really great Meatshields in this place)
Butcher: instead of kiting him for 5 minutes in your TU gear, just take 3 Traprats from Infernal cave and he is done in no time
King Koth: 3 Traprats from Ancients way, They will not survive the whole fight since Shamans hit really hard, but they will take out some of them and make the fight shorter and easier.
Azmodan: with not that great gear it is really fast If you take 3 Traprats with you on your way. You just kite and they finish azmo in less than a minute.
Buffing: Get 3 unseelie ladies on hell A5 (Frozen Tundra and some caves). From time to time they will cast Burning Veil (I have to do the math still, but it is something in the range of 70% Spell damage)
Those things I did with Ressurect as a one-pointer. Will try more, especially with Basilisks (can cast Spellbind) and Alpha Centaurs (can cast Colosseum).
Unfortunately they are quite squishy. But with enough + skills they survive quite some time.

I'd work on some shrine boots , get a +4 vizjerei amulet and replace your right ring with better phys/magic %, those would be a good start.
