make it a cakewalk. MO damage reduction on random rings/amu/quiver and go to town. You prolly can't facetank the beam but it won't instagib you anymore, letting you run through it just fine.


Back in the days aswell as in Sigma I used to just get 95 % Res(with Gems and gear) and as much Damage Reduction I can possibly get, via that I could easily just facetank the beam with characters that can LL(Pots + LL), no idea if a Xbow Necro can achieve that tho, 0 Experience for it, but yeah generaly Max Res gear + Damage Reduction and Res gems to get to 95 % or as close as possible and QT becomes a walking joke.

If you mean the gems, I do fire/mag/phys normally and pull out Jitan's + a random crafted stinger with cold & lightning damage for the other 2.

I meant more of as an actualy build, not just for the gems, I know it prob wont reach the potential of a Full Phys one but can be a fun alternative, who knows

thats quite a nice roll. i would bless it with a creepy shrine. i have never focused on getting ar on my necro and i am hitting 18k which is perfectly fine for anything. better take more phys damage which also provides more life leech since its percentual

For QT or Kabraxis you really dont need to swap gear but it makes your life easier. You have to simple dodge their attacks and place 1-2 widowmakers. repeat until they die.

How can you clear duncraig when you have to teleport over wall ? I always got insta gib because mobs are so dense on the other side and can't do anything as I dont have stun and can't teleport twice ( using nef staff atm ). Normally I have to throw myself in and maybe after 20-30 rips I can break through. But there should be a better way

Aim to teleport to a spot where you're not immediately surrounded by souls. Instantly after teleport, throw down widowmakers. The leech should keep you alive once they start actually hitting the enemy.

The problem is even if I managed to throw 2,3 widowmaker, I still die after few hits. My life leech is currently 49%, damage around 7k, weapon is hwanin with full JAH. Not sure if it's enough. Also defense only 110k ( they have 45% chance to hit me ). So it's really difficult, took me a few dozen times in each tele part of duncraig.
