Can try making a lum bow (arrow swarm oskill) to apply OW to uldy. Dunno what the best way is to keep edyrems dead or away from you though. Not sure if Arrow Swarm will do enough damage.

Potato did at one point. I can't remember if he continued to use it or found something else. Arrow Swarm increases number of arrows for soft points and they pierce in a decent aoe and range.

Then again, they do flat physical damage based on weapon and its ED and doesn't add elemental and magic damages to its output last time I tested it on my tantrumdin after rolling it once on a short war bow.

EDIT: the scaling is in fact high for weapon damage, 5/4 from what i remember

out of curiosity, tantrumdin or tantrumbarb?

both seem to be quite good tanks, but what exactly are the parts that set them apart and where are notable differences?

the reason I ask is I'd like to try them out but pulling both to 120 is quite a deal. I mean making a decent tantrum + good ed + proc seems next to impossible.

I burned through nearly 150 - 200 shrines :/

there was a thread about this iirc, basically paladin is OP no matter the build due to stuff like superbeast, divine apparition and sacred armor

otoh barb with smaxed wolf companion works VERY well with tantrum even naked

I think barb is much better without nice gear thanks to kraken stance, once you craft a kraken helm on barb damage gets so good so easily. However with nice endgame su and other good pieces with gr and ele stones paladin pulls ahead easily. I also in general just that prefer pally since barb doesn't have an innate caster class and the flexibility of pally being able to quickly respec to mindflay for some ubers makes getting all the charms as paladins much simpler.
