askarbydds rapid wyrmshot is completely different ability then normal wyrmshot. If you want pack clear sure max wyrmshot.

if you want to just use rapid wyrmshot it has ok clear but gg single target. adding points into wyrmshot will do nothing for rapid wyrmshot.

you do need to max trinity arrow for the seek range though, since rapid wyrmshot takes its stats from wyrmshot itself, but limits to 2 targets

Phalanx doesn't create any major screen clutter if you aim properly, which is also how you deliver the most damage. It may take some practice, but you essentially have to position yourself in a bottom-left to upper-right diagonal axis respective to boss. Two big advantages from phalanx vs rapid wyrm, is it doesn't care about adds (i.e. Xazax) and it deals damage over time, so you can move at the same time you deal damage. This makes for a poetic synergy with spellbind, another great skill that isn't mentioned enough (probably because no phalanx). I definetly think you should do another go using phalanx, the boss section would look a lot "greener".

Kabraxis is pretty easy if you use barrage, just need to run in circles until boss is dead.

Also, hellreach not mentioned? ;-|


I was reading about bowazon and trying it out many times, but I can't seem to figure out the purpose of Trinity Arrow. Barrage deals more damage to bosses and if you can't be up close then Phalanx is the way to go. Where would it be the appropriate time to use Trinity arrow? I mean what is the skills intended purpose?

Best way to hit the 16k hp recomended for fauzt? Sitting at about 14k, 15k if I swap a giants knuckle for an empyrean glory.

I'm by no means very knowledgeable when it comes to bowzon, just tried it out in the end of this season, so take this with a grain of salt:

Using wind runners means u lose out on 4x gems, which is alot of hp from paragon. Those boots still seem very good, but if u need to bump up ur hp that might be one way to do it (:
Other than that u can try get high roll on charms, and be sure u got the dragon claw upgraded since it gives lots of flat hp.

Original guide recommended a crafted Intimidating or Abandoned Stag Bow; is this still good for Hell difficulty/end game bosses, or are SUs/other crafts now better?

Wuhrfrahmen - iirc Stag Bow got changed to be one of the new elemental damage bows since this guide was written. I think Reflex Bow is now the bow of choice - it had changes to compensate (faster base speed I think, again from memory).

I'm sure other bowzon experts can give you better advice, I just posted quickly to save you using a bow that probably won't be very good now for this build.
