as an endgame shield due to its large Lightning Spell Damage + Bonus Energy + Decent Pierce? I know it lacks + skills sadly.

It's not bad. 30-40 lsd, 20 pierce and %energy on a shield is comparable to a really good mid game ornate craft. Though a very good ornate crafted paladin shield can roll all this, plus +4 skills and up to 30 EF. A nicely rolled Vanquisher/Astreon will beat it as well due to +skills on top of all that lsd/pierce Stormflyer has.


TL;DR: Yes use it but keep looking out for better shields.

Mu quick feedback - stick as long as with scourges as possible. For rapture path you really need for farming really toptier items, hoplites are useless as meat shields. Poor guys as me probably need that pierce from scourge path too. Also at labs (ofc cant do higher levels) scourges are trackers, shields and decoys.

Did you try skipping Superbeast end game ?

I’d be curious to see how good Resurrect fares down into the labyrinth. Since it basically revives slain monsters with bonuses to their original stats, they could prove to be awesome tanks where nothing else can survive. Following your chart about breakpoints, you would lose one on casting speed and gaining four on fhr with the same value.

On the other end, spell damage is already omnipresent on all gear pieces, the amount added for lightning damage probably doesn’t make that much of a difference at those high numbers. Slayer damage would suffer more I think.

TL;DR : Using Resurrect to get tanks for the labyrinth sounds like a great idea to me.

I belive higher tiers leave no corpses to reanimate/resurrect so no loopholes there.

also. didn't they Change resurrect to Neutral alignment exclusively? I think you cannot use resurrect after putting any Points into a holy or unholy Tree since at least 2 Patches ago...
