Well, that is mostly because midgame gear is actually what you use till the end. The only thing i can say is better crafts, and yeah, royal circlet if the res is not needed for some specific fights. You could go for combat speeds on crafts in addition to big dex rolls to replace endless loop with a craft, but thats not easy. Also

.. you dont have armor, it gives more dex and some ias and physical resist you get from shadow refuge.. + 5 more levels to use MOs
You actually have a point there, you could use Topspin to replace endless loop. With endless loop, you dont really need the ias. Given how cheap (and how easy it is to find) witchhuters hood is, it is a very solid choice when you still need resists from gear, and if you dont have that many skill levels from charms for more phys res from shadow refuge. Also when i wrote this, the helm rolled up to 20% dex/str.

Currently using Royal circ, 16% dex crafted gloves and boots, Beads of the snake queen, an empyrean glory and an empyrean band, endless loop, and hexward. Have had terrible luck on the chest craft, so still using leather of aut. Thinking there may be a better option for the belt too.
Edit: just switched to zerae's armor for the extra dex for the time being.

, as mentioned above). Also we are using endless loop, because of no jewels. Most builds get their combat speeds from jewels, because that is the easiest way without sacraficing mo space, so it is just a very convenient that one item takes care a lot of that. But if you can get combat speeds otherwise, then sure, a craft is much better.
