yes that was the previous 1h+shield setup , still very viable , but with the new adjustments to the skillplan for the build that is finaly using solar flare+incarnation + a decent single target killer (DJ) , that setup is no longer mandatory .Heiche wrote:Awesome guides Chuck! Since you can retaliate all the time while under the effect of Solar Flare , you no longer have to get hit in order to retaliate - this means you can get a 2h weapon instead, for more damage while also having a low chance to be hit (you no longer have to run in order to get 0 defence for easier retaliate) -> more tanky + more damage .

that life drain is nothing in end game . Maby the item description is not very clear , but it does not drain 250 life per second . -250 life drain doesn't mean -250 life per second. that's not how it works . it's actualy around -25 life per second ; you won't even notice it while under the effect of Vindicate or an apple .MadeLaidMan wrote:Another thing about the maximus build, how would we offset the life drain of Aiden's Lament outside of combat with LoS/LL?
the life drain formula is something like " (x/256)*25 " = (250/256)*25 = -24.41 hp/second in our case
same goes for "replenish life + x"
also , the build is still not full updated , so there could be some more item replaced , not just for the early game . it will be full updated in about 2 days .
