So is it worth it to put into hit recovery or just hit speed cap is better?

Wolf Stance is huge for the trap rat - it solves the velocity and FHR problems simultaneously (you won't need any FHR sockets or orbs with WS).

Sadly, the fastest FHR breakpoint for rat is 5 frames, so you'll need high defense to avoid hits, but a 6 or 7 frame hit recovery = certain death.

Easiest way is to get it from two pieces of Community Set. I use the boots + gloves (avoid the crown, armor is meh), belt other good choice, but Ghal belt is great for this build. Psychic Scream proc from belt is great for crowd control.

If you have WS, you may want to respec to Faerie Fire from Force Of Nature. You'll lose about 2,400 elemental damage per hit (not a small amount), but gain % avoid, and it will make your on striking procs godly since you'll be running around like a rabid rat on crack and enemies will be running through your faerie trail.

How does wolf stance solve fhr problems?

WS at level 18 (+8 from set, +10 from charms etc) gives 55% fhr and fbr (the latter doesn't matter for rat) - which means you only need 80% additional to hit 5 frame FHR animation. You'll get 45% from Harkon / Sunstone of the Elements / CoV charm. So finding 35% FHR from gear should be easy.

EDIT: Since skill FHR is better than item FHR, WS has an outsized effect.

The character seems tanky and have really good dmg but the one thing that bugs me the most is that whenever i get hit I am stuck in one place and can't move... I know that hit recovery helps but i even tried to stack like 150% and it still the same

Hello. IMHO try to get high defence (KRA WR in armor and other high def items help alot). And make 200%FHR. It must work

Why doesn't FBR matter for rat when you're trying to get high block..?

Iirc, the trap rat doesn't have a block animation so it uses the hit recovery animation so the values are the same or something along those lines.
