The biggest problem here is perpetually spawned ratfinks/citizens, so in the end there way be way too much of them to handle. Don't forget that you'll need to purify traps.
Caster spec with minions will be much better here. Though you are not as tanky without Deathlord, minions (Jinni give extra fire pierce) serve as meatshields while you are able to quickly reduce ZT's health using Funeral Pyre.
It's my least favourite uber because of the reward value<->time/nerves spent, tbh, so I usually just don't bother with it.
If playing on TSW, you won't need to worry about purify and this is fully doable (and honestly probabbly better this chaos ladder) as melee. You can craft an Ancient's Hand necromancer-only scythe, and ZT only spawns one trap upon summoning him initially. After that, he no longer spawns any traps. Just the citizens (which also, unlike Ureh for some reason, these ones will not desync you if you run through them). -199% Enemy Fire + Dragonfire Oil + Ancient's Hand + Crushing Blow will make short work of him if you hit him when he drops fire immunity. I think it would be worth your while to put a point into Nightwalker for this uber (along with Ureh) if you haven't already for the massive boost in Poison Length Reduction. Get 90-95 max poison and about ~500 flat poison resist. Deathlord and Vizharan wand will be plenty enough defense for this with regular gear. Just make sure you have a decent amount of %DR and you should be good to go.
