in the arsenal, bow druid is decent at killing Samael, at least with BiS gear right?

The bow isn't that good for boss-killing. the proc is the powerful part of the weapon, so it's solely used for farming.

as for samael-killing, my guess is both weapons cant kill Sam; the dmg output isn't there. i think only a

build has samael potential (it can get well into the 70k+ dmg range, whereas you won't ever reach 30k with a fire build even on BiS gear). but i cant speak from experience, i havent done it myself.

You can just type the item names in d2stats.
