First of all, skills.

Why put points into DJ? It seems to give so less in return but also increases the mana cost a shit ton.

Why put so much points into specilization to just put 5 more points into dragonheart, it doesnt seem to be worth it to use 15 points for extra 30 ewd. It also enables you to put 5 moer points into colosseum but it seems unnecessary since its 5 second debuff for bosses, and you already have so DA for moving.

Why max Blessed life after you get capped phys resist? The flat phys reduction doesnt seem to be worth it since it doesnt scale that much.

Second, items.

Is colonel really good? Ben told meabout it before and i made a whole build around it, and it was still no damage compared to what you can get with a normal build.

I would like to suggest adding samael sword

What about

shield? I was theorycrafting about a mostly dex/some str hmp build with max block with angelhost and i was thinking cherubim proc would be very good. Wouldnt it make more sense to attack, and then proc cherubim, rather than just use cherubim and not attack at all? What do you think about this?

For helm, i think cinadide is really good with cinadide belt, but

since it gives bunch of ewd, flat and stats.

I was also crafting jewels with Amn rune for flat stats, but i guess you crafting it with max damage gives more overall damage.

TYVM for the respons.

Testing in the beta is where most thing comes from. Yes Sam sword is very good..just forgot to add it.. why? because we never got to test it in the beta :)

About skillz is very easy collo 25 points = 2 sec cooldown ergo you can use it more to move from place to place. Lionheart is more phy damage every point you dump into it. DJ is king of single target, iv both done testing with maxing it out and in the end went with just dumping spare points in it. So why max out things.. why use points after capping.. because there is debuffs that remove stats... and there is no other places to put em anyways.

The colonel is INSANE.. but its more a late game weapon when you got everything min/maxed.

Barghest howl is a great starter helm.. Battle Rage is also great.. but wont add it to this guide.. its simply way to expensive and is beaten by miles and miles by cina helm/belt combo.

Rebel is a good cheap armor.. Khazara plate is not bad either.. but Rebel in itself gets beaten by miles and miles by the TU armor that scales of your strength.

Boots... sure Nephilim is a good and solid starter item... but lifecrusher has nothing to offer this build at ALL.

Savage I also tested in beta at the late stat stacking part 9-11k strength and it felt short BIG time of Mercy gloves that are KING.

This build needs 1 or 2 jewels... sure I go with flat dmg.. because thats one of the things we try stacking as high as possible... in d2stats I had 22,5k max flat damage in my best setup during the beta and its just king.. cant just go one way.. gotta mix it up a bit to both scale strength and flat damage.

The shield ? that would be another build 100% where you go with proccs over casting the ability by yourself..

How can you possibly reach 10k str? I am doing 2 hander version with all charms and i have like 7k strength. and i have like avarage 13k damage. How can you possibly reach 22k phys damage on d2stats?

10K str is possible... currently at 8k+ and havent had much time to play yet due to work kicking me in the ass

Current max damage in d2stats is 17443 so still a long way to go before I reach beta levels of damage

I think the highest my Cherubim got was 14k-36k and im sure there is more to pull out of it

If your playing with a two hander we are NOT playing the same build?????

10K str is possible... currently at 8k+ and havent had much time to play yet due to work kicking me in the ass

Current max damage in d2stats is 17443 so still a long way to go before I reach beta levels of damage

I think the highest my Cherubim got was 14k-36k and im sure there is more to pull out of it

Well we are maxing pretty much same skills and using pretty much same gear. Even when i theorycrafy your gear in excel spreadsheet i dont get that much str or damage. Can you send me your notarmouy for me to check?

Not sure notarmory is working 100% now! but sure go nuts ;)

Did you have attack rating issues while playing this? Im pretty equal stats to what is shown in the Lord of Lies video but I can't figure out why you have 400 more dex than me. It's killing my AR.

I got all my stat points in strength but I still got 1663 dexterity atm - Current AR is 53785. Currently im in a mix of BiS items and starter MF items so still missing a lot of damage ofc :) But besides gloves/boots honorifics that im still using with flat 50dex and dex shrine blessing the dex mostly comes from charms. My umbaru treasure has 77str/80dex/85vita/56 energy.. the sleep with awaken trophy for another 15% scaling and cold fusion is 45str/42dex all in all so fare im a tad higher AR than I ever ways in the BETA.

My weapon ofc also helps big time on the dex stacking! Image

I also made Oriflamme earlier and it helped a lot, im wearing a bit of both mf and damage gear also, cinadide gloves, belt helmet so im missing some flat dex there. Currently at 6550 strength and around 1400 dex now. I was thinking about putting TA trophy on sleep, but I'm not sure. I don't have 45 stat cold fusion yet, need to get that trophy.

Spent most of the day trying to buy Lim rune for mercy only to learn Lim rune doesn't exist anymore because its name was changed. So that was fun.

10k-23k and 44513 AR, still not nearly enough AR. 79k isnt even enough for 95% hit rate in Scosglen. I have 6668 str. I made mercy and they were a strength and damage downgrade over cinadide 3 set and gloves. I'm missing like 35ish flat strength because my fool's gold is terrible and the game won't give me a good one.

The damage doesn't feel so great anymore tbh, I'm not sure what to go for next, I have all the damage gear listed above, high STR charms besides fool's gold, the biggest upside is being super tanky for the most part.

There is no reason for that high AR for scosglen.. iv did fine sub 50k in the beta... and items is just one part of this build... getting that certain charms with trophy's for max stat stacking makes it all go up in a higher unity later when you got it all... just upgrading early on to some rw wont always mean more damage :) just take the sleep... not having that 15%all attributes and 20-25 damage is not super fun :D gotta get em all to maximum stacking % and max stats where you can. Currently im 12-27k damage (still missing 2-9k from my beta damage) 53785 AR im only 139 and still using honorifics boots/gloves and KO runes all over.. so so much get gain both on items/runes/normal moing (level:140/144)
