I didn't actually know there was a spell dmg upgrade for Swords!

Hah, yeah with an oil of conjuration you can get +10% spell damage on a weapon :)

So they drop in A5 side zones.

I was able to make some nice swords with the recipe, one has 100% poison spell damage:

In terms of bossing. I keep seeing how adding sources of poison damage from items increases your dps but shortens the duration. In theory, could we stack up as many poison damage items as possible in order to front load our poison damage into a shorter duration and benefit from hitting bosses more often?

Is there a minimum duration to poison?

Let me just do a sanity check - you stack spell damage because it works on initial poison hit, but initial hits is all we do (except possibly splash), so it is actually useful, right?

That's correct, poison spell damage works for this build.

dunc will be pretty tough at first, make sure you've MOed all your gear with psd, maybe switch to honorifics for the double benefit, and get some enhanced defense

Thanks, I decided to first dedicate to phys WW to see how that compares. And that way I can more efficiently farm a complete set of gear before making the switch to poison :) I do think that poison isn't a build to start with in the end.
