Why not ?



General Guidelines

  • Main aim was to able to build viable zon who uses sword for swings
  • Is not the best build
  • If you feel like you are having trouble surviving somewhere, check your resists and max them if they aren't maxed
  • If you feel like you are low on dmg, Check MOs and add if missing
  • Check sigs consumed when feeling stuck

Post 125

After Killing Baal, you have your relic
So I am assuming now you have opened access to relics, via using urs or trading it for one you need etc.
There are numerous builds you can try with swordzon now

Ubers

Mentioning Mid-Early (<125) ubers, since got only 2 build variants till then. Ubers post 125 depend on what build you have chosen.
Whirlpool combo/Charged Strike - Just throw whirlpool and if you can sustain mana then eq/charged stirkes b/w those whirlpools for all ubers.
Death Blossom - Just spam db, use SoV reanimates to distract
Will be mentioning only those ubers which are a bit different

Akarat - Might have to come back after some gear upgrades

Cathedral of Vanity - Stay right behind the pillar protecting you from the beam when you enter. Atack the nuns for LoMA. Attack Totem when its spell is on CD. Dont go to far in in the room

Judgement Day - Start with Imperius, try sticking edyryms in corridors and other spare rooms. Malthael is easy

Teganze - PitA, Dodge the balls

Kabraxis - BIgger PitA, tbh I myself would just mule the charm or buy it. Need to be constantly moving to avoid Balefire. Keep hitting in b/w. Soulstealer

Appreciate the effort but you’re basically playing an anemic build for the sake of using a sword.

Advice: if you really wanna go down the memezon rabbit hole, find an ethereal battlemaiden and a good multi-hitter relic like Cherubim or DJ. No sword is worth giving up that 300+ EWD

Yes cuz ive seen the swordzon meme being mentioned almost ever since i joined the median community and i got this chance in 2.2 to actually make it real. TY team for all the changes :D

ngl that does seem appealing, but that would come as some another meme build (not swordzon)
Will probably do that too someday in future.....currently need to focus irl

Yeah, The only reason why we have to spec out of it when we hit 105/hell, The transition to Charged strike feels pretty bad, but its only a few 5-10 levels _:D
