yea if you play from level 1 with it you are invincible for a while. There is literally no other body armor aside from an honorific that has anything worth using on a PMSD caster in early normal.
I honestly just run to act 3 completely naked and pick up what I find.
I really don't recommend this build for new players.

Also, i'm not sure if going for the PR in the xbow tree is worth it, it's a lot of points not spent in the malice tree for the death pact synergy, which is a fat chunk of damage

Honorifics are better than indigo for malice. Its funny how good honorifics are untill you can get something that beats them by a lot. even daydreamer doesn't fixed that much damage. it just has high regen. The are some options in belts too. I will write some of these in.

I will add a disclaimer that you wont be able to do endgame content easily or very well at all with out literally 90% clise to Best in slots, very high charm/trophy investment.

I currently clear t5 worse than a spearzon in a set. with 600 spell damage 2000 energy, 750 sf
