Ok, the Feedback from both sides was clear enough.
An other idea would be to just post here something like "I have the following to share: ...".
And if someone needs anything, he can contact the ones then, who have this something. It could be easier, but seemingly thats the way to go then.
Any other or better ideas about it, before i start?

Probably the best way to share and conserve these files is to reupload them into a google drive folder and make it publicly accessible. There is a real risk of these downloads from decade-plus old websites being deleted forever, and I'm sure it's already happening. If you were to go the extra mile and make a Google Sheets document organizing the links to the MPQs and doc files, organized by mod version, this would cement this project into an actual historical archive.
The obvious downside of this is falls on one person to curate all of this and be around to update it when new files come to light. But if anything get the files off of the old download sites and reupload them somewhere together in a place that's going to be around for awhile (Google or Mega)

Instructions: Unzip the folder and move the three files into the main Diablo II directory. Replace any existing files.
To revert back to the latest version, just update via the launcher. Enjoy
