All versions of Median

). Also there seems to be a big gap between 1.57b and 1.90. And of course even earlier versions before Median 2 (2005) v004 SE are missing.

There are tons of guides for most versions and for every or at least the most classes, if you search through the former forums with Waybackmachine. The following 2 are the main ones, for further searching:

I saved and uploaded guides for many versions too. They somehow help, especially if no doc is available for the version, you play atm... but also in general guides are always good to lead you the way. The old versions are completely different in many ways. You maybe will have to learn to play the mod again^^ Some important guides might be missing, its simply too much for me to decide, whats important, and what not. If there is something important missing in in your opinion, just save and upload the content. Here are the guides:

Any other ideas, how/where to get old docs/versions? I was just able to save the docs for MXL u6, everything else was down... at least via waybackmachine, its impossible to login into any forum from the past for obvious reasons or download content O-)

If anyone wants a recommendation where to start: Im at the end of 1.45 now with the unholy-judgement-din, its possible to complete the game + the easy ubers by relaxed gameplay. Its not a cakewalk, if you try to do the attribute Challenges with your very first char. But playing with a D2SE 1.13 (it was designed for an earlier core) core lets you respec your char 3 times in total, so you can cheat here. At least i made it until mid act 1 in hell mode, before i pumped in all stats -.-

Mana Scorc is not everyones taste in playstyle i guess, but she seemingly has a lot of potential...

Median 2008 was a lot of fun, even if there was limited "uber" content and some really broken builds.
I remember playing a proc Sin that you had to weapon switch to stop hade's gate procs 5 times a second (in crowded maps like TA or cows). You could just click once to crucify a target and then go hands off keyboard and drink a beer while you wipe the whole map.
I miss punisher traps and instagibs from "whoops didn't see that pounce witch".
Laz Median is a completely different entity from this (Ultimative), he only edited the .mpq file.

Going back to a Laz Median would require a fresh D2LoD installation right?

@dark-soul: socket tal runes and MO gear with +stats until attribute challenge is completed right? That's how I remember it. Gimp yourself short-term for long-term gain.

I use D2SE for my own median version based on omega 003, and even with Sigma installed I can run it just fine. Without D2SE, however, you'll probably have to have a fresh installation, but I'm not sure.
