Median XL - bottom of screen cut off on laptop

Just downloaded v1.34. I can play the game but don't have access to the buttons at the bottom of the screen. I can just see the tops of the buttons but don't really have access. The resolution on my laptop is 1920x1080.

The game works great on my desktop computer which is 1440x900.

is there a way to fix this? Thank you.

You can change your game window size, supposing you're using Glide as our video mode:
MXL launcher → Settings → open "⚙️ Glide Settings" → 'Settings' tab → select a "static size" → "Quit" button → Quit and close the Launcher → re-open it and then launch the game.

I've been starting the game with "game.exe" because MXL launcher won't launch the game. It says there was an error and to check the errorlog.txt.
I can't find an error log only a D2Debug.txt in the logs folder.

From where you start your diablo doesnt matter. Do what RequiemLux told you to do.
