I'm running Windows 10 but I can't start Median XL.
I get a black screen and in 2-3 seconds it is gone and nothing starts.

I already tried to delete my preferences.json, compability checks, window mode on/off.
Cleaned my registry with a program, but maybe something i'm missing there and someone can tell me what to check there manually?
Also checked settings in glide settings. No success yet...

Please someone help me because I want to play this beautiful mod again :(

Try disabling "keep desktop composition" in 3DFX Glide settings and/or make sure you are NOT trying to run the Launcher in compatibility mode with Windows XP (the game itself is fine). You should also try clicking on "Run Video Test" in the Launcher settings page. You could also try also resetting Glide settings to default.
Btw what happens if you try to run the game with the Launcher closed and by clicking on Game.exe in your "Diablo II" folder?

I download both clients from Blizzard, it's the 1.14b version then.
Maybe something doing with that?

There shouldn't be any issue related to patch version if you're using the Launcher. What happens if you change video mode in the settings from Glide to one of the other two (try both)? Btw have you tried restarting the PC?

I cant use the other 2 options because they will give me an exceptional violation error.
I will restart my pc now.

I restart my pc, still no success.
Other options give the error Unhandled Exception:
Access_Violation (c0000005)

I'm not sure what the issue might be, do you have any antivirus that might be preventing the mod from working correctly?

Try doing the following with the Launcher closed:

1) Download d2mxl_dep_reset.bat (right click, 'save link as') and Run As Administrator to delete any corrupted registry entries.

2) Open Explorer, right-click Computer, Advanced System Settings, Advanced tab, Settings in Performance section, Data Execution Prevention tab.

3) Choose Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select.

4) Add the Diablo II.exe, Game.exe and glide-init.exe processes to the DEP exclusion list (all can be found in your Diablo II folder).

5) Restart the PC without opening the Launcher or the game.

If you have restarted the PC try starting the game. If you're still experiencing the issue post here a screenshot of your Diablo II folder (where Game.exe is) and one of the Launcher settings page.
