Could buffs be made to overwrite the previous state when recasting while the buff is active? For example, when a Paladin buffs with Dragonheart, then levels up and puts another point into the skill while the buff is active, you have to wait for the buff to expire before the new defense value will be applied. Simply recasting just extends the duration of the previous state; it doesn't apply the higher defense boost. It's not a big deal, more of a minor inconvenience.
Also, if the 6 sec timer on Solar Flare is gonna stay, could it at least be made so you don't have to wait the full 6 seconds before recasting it (maybe lock it out for 2 seconds, or something)? Again, not a huge deal, it just sort of breaks up the action sometimes the way it is. Like, when you finish off a mob 4 seconds into a Solar Flare, then run into an even bigger mob, but have to wait to engage b/c 2 seconds won't be enough to take them out. And having Solar Flare go out mid-fight can be dangerous with a Holy Melee Paladin's measly defense and no CtB.
I'd also like to suggest marking Solar Flare as a buff rather than a spell so it can be used with the Holy Melee set and/or Bear Stance from Brahman. I know it's not a pure buff since it does some damage, but so does Shadow Avatar, and it can be used with items/buffs that lock out spells.
