Could buffs be made to overwrite the previous state when recasting while the buff is active? For example, when a Paladin buffs with Dragonheart, then levels up and puts another point into the skill while the buff is active, you have to wait for the buff to expire before the new defense value will be applied. Simply recasting just extends the duration of the previous state; it doesn't apply the higher defense boost. It's not a big deal, more of a minor inconvenience.

Also, if the 6 sec timer on Solar Flare is gonna stay, could it at least be made so you don't have to wait the full 6 seconds before recasting it (maybe lock it out for 2 seconds, or something)? Again, not a huge deal, it just sort of breaks up the action sometimes the way it is. Like, when you finish off a mob 4 seconds into a Solar Flare, then run into an even bigger mob, but have to wait to engage b/c 2 seconds won't be enough to take them out. And having Solar Flare go out mid-fight can be dangerous with a Holy Melee Paladin's measly defense and no CtB.

I'd also like to suggest marking Solar Flare as a buff rather than a spell so it can be used with the Holy Melee set and/or Bear Stance from Brahman. I know it's not a pure buff since it does some damage, but so does Shadow Avatar, and it can be used with items/buffs that lock out spells.

Qne wrote:make a recipe to give the double mo bonus again.. or a recipe to make an item eth

all 6 emblems and a enchanted crystal = 25% chance or something

or 100 sigs = 10% chance..

some kind of way that its not super easy to do and takes time.. not a garentee and gives items that because competently useless once at a certain point some value again like sigs after you hit 500 and they start to fall off in trade value

double MO bonus was bunk and you know it -- so glad we aren't put at a significant disadvantage bc we lose a hard-to-win rng game that we had literally no input over besides just "press button and pray"

tha FUCK is that actually how it's worked this whole time?

I'm still behind the idea of just...letting solar flare's duration scale with level

Literally no idea why Terror Strike gets that and Solar Flare doesn't, 'specially when Terror Strike overall works better with unholy builds than solar flare does with holy builds.

i mean rng in itself is a press butting and pray mechanic.. thats why its a random number generator and the whole idea behind it is it isnt necessary but if youre lucky it is awesome to have.. and if youre persistent you will end up getting it.. look at the lotterie recipies for instance.. its the same idea.

It would be neat for WDM characters with multiple damage types if you could hover your cursor over the damage box in the LCS and it would display a list of how much damage your character's attack does per damage type, similar to how hovering over the AR and defense boxes show your CtH and chance to be hit/CtB respectively.

In my opinion the nerf to -enemy resist was a needed one and elemental spelldmg is at a good place now.
Not too op to oneshot everything whereas other dmg sources without this insane dmg multiplier struggled.

But the removal of -res hit flat elemental dmg as well.
Unlike elemental spelldmg, there is no other way to amplify elemental flat dmg on weapons (except direct melee hits...).
And unlike phys dmg (%EWD) there is no way besides -res to increase said dmg.
This change made most flat ele dmg on items (even lategame SU's and RW's) very underwhelming, except maybe the rather high flat rolls on rare and crafted weapons.
Since having more than one type of damage is so important, this nerf hit WDM chars without a conversion spell way too hard and made flat ele dmg way too weak.
And if you already have a conversion spell you would rather go for increased phys dmg than flat ele dmg anyway.
Even the sins ways dmg is rather low, considering you have to invest a lot of points.

My idea would be to boost flat ele dmg in some kind of way.
Either with a new stat like in PoE which boosts Weapon elemental dmg, or some kind of other multiplier. Or you could just simply buff the ele dmg values on items/skills for the lategame. (early game is in a good place)

TL;DR
Flat elemental damage is too weak and needs a buff.

Yup. It's the same with the "25% base STR added to VIT" thing. If you put points into STR while Dragonheart is active, you have to wait for it to expire, then recast it before the new VIT bonus will take effect. Swapping out weapons/corpse recovery while it's active also seems to fk with the damage bonus, but I haven't messed around with it enough yet to know exactly what affects what.

This is what he was referring to.

Actually, if you check the first post:

Suggestion - slightly increase the autogold pick up range. So that it works like vacuum cleaner instead of like shovel. If possible.
