Depends on your final setup and what you need to balance out your build. Viz-jun Trophy is almost always useful, but Rathma, Laz, or Dunc also look promising.

Hey Solfege,

have another question concerning
Empyrean Band
Empyrean Band

Both. There was a bug with Empys in one of the recent patches that was fixed, and it dropped ctc Singularity to 1%. Looks like the docs listing and item tag for it haven't been updated.

Edit:
I'll report these errors in the Docs Bugs & Feedback thread.

Have you tried this with other elemental trees?

Warp armor seems amazing since sorc doesn't have any other skill-based avoid.

Yes. I ran Lightning/Cold, Poison/Lightning, and Poison/Fire from start to finish when I was reworking the build for 1.3. And I added Fire/Lightning to End-Game testing just for comparison since it's the standard tree combo. They all work fine, depending on how aggressively you want to play. But Fire/Lightning is a tougher sell for Fusillade-based Melee Sorcs b/c you don't have enough skill points to max everything you want, so you have to make some tough choices.

I like to change the build when major content patches are released to keep things fresh. So I went with Poison/Fire this time to shake things up a bit. When Sigma is released, I'll probably change the build again when I update the guide, depending on what changes Sigma brings.

Yes. There were no content changes between S17 and S18, so all guides marked with the 1.3 tag are still up to date.

What about
Dryhten Ealdor
as a late game weapon? Crucify and doom procs seem to pair exceptionally well with the high % EWD items you have.

And what are your thoughts on
Starhawk

Dryhten works fine. Really, most late game weapons work fine. By that stage, you're thinking marginally in terms of damage anyway, so it's more about what you like and what fits your playstyle. Best thing you can do is just try it for awhile and see how you like it. Personally, I'm kinda meh on Crucify as a proc for this build. It's not terrible, but I've found it redundant. You already have blades flying everywhere and a built-in AoE on the weapon itself. Plus, it's delayed hit is a turn-off. Doom is nice, but it doesn't proc often enough to be super effective, imo.

As for Starhawk, the old Starhawk+AotOR combo still works if you want to go with an Elemental build. And even if you don't go Elemental, it's still useful in places such as Yshari. And it makes doing the Soul of Kabraxis upgrade a whole lot easier.

Sorry, what is AotOR? And what build changes would you suggest if one were to go with Starhawk?

One more itemization question - how about using
The Chained Mail
paired with
Baron Sludge's Bonecrusher
to go fully into the life on attack mod? I know Chained mail isn't considered best in slot, but the slow, dex, and DR is nice and most importantly the life on attack on these two items seems to pair well with Baneblade. You could probably jack it up as high as 700 life per hit overall. Is this viable or would it reduce damage too much?
