Following your example, wouldn't I be able to reach 313% ED if they have separate caps?

How are you getting to 313%? Sorry, it's 3:30 am here and my brain is a little fuzzy.

I misfired, not 313% but: Perfect base + 5 mo = 130%, Perfect Grace - 143%, but since they have separate caps, can't you use more ED mo after creating the Grace?

Thus making the Grace 143% into 200% + 130% - 330%.

Ok, I get it now.

Sadly, no. Even though there are 2 separate caps, you can still only use a max of 5x regular MOs of the same type per item. Again, RWs are a little weird. They're counted as 2 distinct items when it comes to ED, but as the same item when it comes to MOs.

BTW, the same concept we've been discussing applies to Enhanced Defense for armor. Just in case you wanna play a build later for which you want to maximize Armor Class Defense.

Also, I forgot about the Oil of Luck in my first example. So be sure you lucky the base item before creating the RW.

Yes, and there's also the lucky bonus, so a runeword which adds 200% ed can have a maximum of 350 ed if you do everything correctly.

However, concerning runewords, there's one more special case: If the rune of the runeword also adds ED, it will add up. For example, if the runeword alraady grants 200%, and it uses a XIS rune, which adds another 30%, it will total in 230%.

That's why
Natasha's Legacy (Xis)
is the only item that can have more than 400% ED. (200 as the base of the runeword, 6 x 30% from XIS runes= 380% and a total of 75% from the base item =455%. No mystic orbs because of the level requirement.)

Can you explain that? I don't see how he gets to 330 with
Grace
. Perfect base (35) + Lucky (20) + 5x ED MOs (75) + perfect RW (143) = 273. Am I forgetting something?

No this is 100% correct.

I was talking about runewords that grant 200% ED from the runeword itself,

55% from the perfect base
20% lucky
75% mo's
= 150%
200% Runeword bonus
= 350% ED in total on a perfect roll.

Linga Sharira
Is a good example for that.

Isn't perfect base only 35%, though? (It's been like 6 months since I last played and I've been up all night drinking, so...)

Solfege thanks for your time.

Another question, which is Minion res important (mystery orbs)?
And what's so good about the mysteries set? Are any of the 3 skills it grants important?

Uhm... Now that you mention that, I'm not so sure anymore. It has been 4 months for me lol.

No problem.

Sorry, not sure what you're asking about minion res. It's the "Summoned Minion Resistance" mod/MO. It helps your Blade Spirits resist Elemental attacks from enemies so they stay alive longer.

As for
The Mysteries
The Mysteries
(Sorceress Melee Set)

Cauldron
Pentacle
Sacred Circle
Witchblade

Set Bonus with 2 or more set items:
+2 to Sorceress Skill Levels
+50 to Dexterity

Set Bonus with 3 or more set items:
+21 to Spiral Dance
Physical Resist 10%

Set Bonus with complete set:
+100 Damage
+4 to Ward of Fate
10% Chance of Crushing Blow
Weapon Physical Damage +100%
+4000 Defense
5% Chance to Avoid Damage

, it's mostly good because it gives you decent %DR and %CB, some %DS from Moon Queen, some %Avoid, and tons of flat Physical damage (which is important for this build because your buff skills multiply flat Phys damage). Don't bother with the oskills (Spiral Dance and Sacred Armor). Spiral Dance isn't that good because its damage is low and its delivery is delayed, and Sacred Armor has a long cooldown timer that will lock out Fusillade.
