It's a bug with the forum's current youtube addon. Until this gets fixed you can use the following bbcode, which works with spoilers.

Code: Select all

[testtube]VARIABLE[/testtube]
It has the added advantage of not loading the full youtube player until the video is clicked, which will make video heavy posts load faster.

So for example
