Was lucky to have MOTW on the jewel, sadly i can't make use of it since i'm a Mana Sorc

+1 to MOTW is not extraordinary anyway . the damage it adds is almost nothing . you have not lost anything for not being able to benefit from it on your mana sorc . no need to be sad

But overall for other classes/specs, MOTW is a nice addition right?

yes , if it's more than +1

the barbarians for example can get +24 per crafted axe -> +48 if dual axe . if you also count more + all skills from other gear parts and charms , it can reach +70-ish . the only viable combo for other classes where your +1 cotw can do "decent" is by using other gear parts that are boosting MOTW's damage (such as

mine was traprat which i suppose is technically more useful?
